Who is KolFish?
A fish processing company in Urk supplying restaurants, wholesalers and private customers. Every species is filleted, portioned and packed by hand rather than on an industrial line, which gives accurate portioning, a clean cut surface and less waste. That handwork is the thing the website had to communicate first.
What did the website have to do?
Explain a hand-processing operation to two different audiences - trade buyers and private customers - in two languages, show which species are available, make the certifications easy to verify, and give a buyer one obvious way to get in touch. It had to work on a phone, because that is where most of its visitors are.

A bilingual five-page site
Dutch and English throughout, so trade buyers outside the Netherlands read the same information as customers in Urk.
A per-species product overview
Each fish is listed with what KolFish does to it, so a buyer can see what is available without having to ask first.
Certifications and quality process
A section on the MSC certification and the handling process, because in this trade the certificate is the first thing a buyer checks.
A contact form that reaches a person
One form, on every page, going straight to the inbox that answers it - with custom 404 and error pages so a mistyped link is not a dead end.
How it was delivered
The same four steps as every Strivon website: a conversation to agree what the site had to do, a written agreement with a fixed price, the build, then a walkthrough together before it went live. Nothing was invoiced beyond what was agreed in step two.
What keeps it running
Strivon hosts the site on its own VPS, deploys every change, and handles backups, security updates and the SSL certificate. KolFish does not administer a server, renew a certificate or install an update. Support is unlimited and answered by the person who built the site.
